consecutive ECC Large Division win. Mike Berkowicz of Woodstock
was the first individual across the line as he finished 13 seconds

WILLIMANTIC — Kevin Agnello finished three seconds ahead of
teammate Ryan Lenihan and Stonington cruised past Windham.

NORTH STONINGTON — Brad Beausoleil finished second and Kyle
Rouillard third for the Panthers to balance out the first place
finish of Wheeler’s Matt Edwards.
Grasso splits two
MANSFIELD — John Mullins and Jesse Quick finished first and second
for the Windham Tech Mighty Tigers as they raised their
record to 4-0 with a 21-38 win over Grasso Tech in Mansfield. The
Eagles picked up a win of their own as Jon Perry finished third
and Greg Sugar fourth overall and Grasso downed Parish Hill 15-50. |

NORTH STONINGTON — Wheeler’s Maggie Luckhardt finished first on
the Lions’ new 2.48-mile course, running 17:32, but it was
not enough to lift her team, which was without top-three runner
Shannon McBride. Tracy Valcin placed second at 17:51 for
Plainfield while teammate Caitlyn Walker took third.
St. Bernard 15 Putnam 48
UNCASVILLE — Eileen Benway, Caroline Riley, Lauren Londregan, Juli
Bassett and Jessica Farley ran as a pack and finished
together, 22 seconds ahead of Putnam’s Shelbie Greene as the
Saints posted the win.

COLCHESTER — Brittany Lane crossed the line first for the Bobcats
followed by teammates Lizzie Weinick, Chelsea Ahmed, Amanda
Woroneck and Melissa Zablonski.

LEDYARD — Abby Singer set a new course record with a 17:10 finish,
leading Fitch to the dual meet victory. Annie Roland and
Katie Morrell finished Nos. 2 and 3, respectively and Laura Erhart
took fourth for Ledyard at 18:42.
East Lyme 25 Waterford 36
EAST LYME — Jackie Blodgett finished third overall and East Lyme
had eight of the top 10 as the Vikings topped the Lancers.
NFA 15 Woodstock 50
WOODSTOCK — Meegan Joly was the top finisher as NFA remained
unbeaten with a win over Woodstock.
Kate Murphy finished eighth for Woodstock.
Stonington 27 Windham 32
WILLIMANTIC — Bryn Hickey was third overall and Stonington had
seven of the top 10 runners as it edged out Windham. Windham’s
Leslie Garabedian was the top overall finisher.
Pirates, Eagles prevail
MANSFIELD — Micaela Ganler, Ali Cumy, Brooke Puleo and Rachel
Landon, all Parish Hill runners, were the first four in as the
Pirates bested Grasso Tech 17-42 in Mansfield. Grasso Tech won by
forfeit, 15-50, over Windham Tech. |
