Directions to Middletown High School
From the South:
From Route 91, take Exit 18. Take /Route 691 to Route 66 towards
Middletown. Follow Route 66 through Middletown to Main Street (big set of
traffic lights). Turn right on Main Street and go to the end (with a green
on your right and facing a church). Take a right following the signs to
Route 17 South onto South Main Street. Follow South Main Street until you
pass Iliano's Restaurant on your left. Take a left at the caution light.
Follow the road (bearing a left at the fork) until the stop sign. Take a
right onto Hunting Hill Ave. The high school will be on your left.
From the North:
Route 91 to Route 9 to Exit 11 (Randolph Road). See below for remainder of

From I-84:
I-84 to Route 9 to Exit 11 (Randolph Road). See below for remainder of
directions.
From I-95:
Take Route 9 Exit. Go on Route 9 North and take Exit 11 for Randolph Road.
Take a left off the exit ramp and do down hill, up a hill and down another
hill. As you go down the second hill, turn right at the second crossroads
sign onto Hunting Hill Ave. The high school is on your right after a few
blocks.

By Car from Hartford and North:
Take Interstate 91 South through Hartford to exit 22S (left-hand
exit). This exit is for Route 9 South to Middletown. At exit 15 (second
light), turn right onto Route 66 West (also called Washington Street).

By Car from New Haven and South:
Traveling on Interstate 91 North, take exit 18 (66 East) - or -
Traveling on Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15 North), take exit 68
to Route 691/66 East. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in Middletown.

By Car from Waterbury and West:
Traveling on Interstate 84 East, take exit 27 to Route 691/66 East.
Route 66 E becomes Washington Street in Middletown. Please refer to

By Car from New London and Southeast:
Travel on Route 95 North to Route 9 North in Old Saybrook. Follow
Route 9 North all the way to Middletown and turn left at the first traffic
light in Middletown (Route 66 West). Please refer to specific athletic
facility instructions below.
By Car from Willimantic and East:
Travel on Route 66 West all the way to Portland. Go over the bridge to
Middletown, which puts you on Main Street. Stay on Main Street to third
light, which is for Route 66 West (Washington Street). Turn right on
Washington Street. Please refer to specific athletic facility instructions
below.
Freeman Athletic Center, including Bacon Field House, Ice Area,
Natatorium, Tennis Courts, and Track -- If coming West on Route
66/Washington Street, go past High Street and turn left at next light onto
Vine Street (cemetary on corner). Travel on Vine Street (tennis courts on
right), staying to the left where the street branches off. At the traffic
light, turn right and then make an immediate left, which is the Freeman
Athletic Center. If coming East on Route 66/Washington Street, turn right
on Vine Street, which is the first light past Dunkin' Donuts and Midas.
Then, follow the same info. in this section to the Freeman Athletic
Center.
