We NEED officials...they are paid. If you have an assistant coach or someone
who can officiate a jumping event please contact Dan Uriano. |
Start Time:
|
- Field Events begin at 4:30pm
- Running Events begin between 5:00pm (Depending on the number of
teams coming to the meet). Meet will end by 10pm per our neighborhood agreement
that the track lights must be turned off by 10:00pm.

- Online Intent to Enter form - Deadline is
12-noon, Wednesday April 23, 2008

Entry Limits:
|
- Two events per athlete (that includes alternates)
- Up to three (3) relays per school per event
- Maximum of four (4) athletes per school in each field event:
Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin, Long Jump and High Jump.

Entry Fees - Checks:
|
- $150.00 per school (that includes boys and girls teams)
- or $20.00 per relay or $10.00 per athlete
- **10% discount to each cost for any team that attended last year.
- ** if you have an athlete in a relay and an individual event you must
pay $20.00 for the relay plus $10.00 for the athlete.

Meet Rules:
|
- To insure a fair and quality meet, CIAC rules will govern all events.
- We would appreciate if
each team could bring a backup official, as last year we were slightly
short-handed.
|
Awards:
|
Senior Night:
- The Meet will host a "SENIOR" night for all teams. We will formally
recognize the seniors from each team. Coaches will need to complete a
short form when they arrive at the meet that lists the seniors present
at the meet. Halfway through the meet we will call the seniors out to
the center of the field, starting with Manchester athletes, then
announce the other seniors team by team in alphabetical order.
Unique Awards:
- Last year we gave out Glow in the dark Frisbees, T-Shirts, and Nike
Shoe Bags. This year year are planning on an array of other unique awards
as the meet is working with New Balance of South Windsor to arrange for
awards.

Doctor and Trainer:
|
- Athletic Trainer on site during meet.
|
Implement Check:
|
- All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use
in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements
that have not passed meet inspection.
