Entry Limits:
|
- An
athlete may enter and compete in no more that 3 events including relays;
only one event over 400m is permitted on Saturday.
- Each school is only allowed
to enter (1) relay team in each event.
- JV events are for 9th and
10th grade athletes only.
- To
compete in the weight-person relay, an athlete must have competed in the
shot or discus. A javelin thrower is not allowed unless they are in the
shot or discus.
- You may not add or change athletes on the day of competition. You may
scratch without penalty before the start of the meet.

Entry Fees - Checks:

Entry Fees are as follows:
$170 for one school with both a girls and boys team or
$95 for just one team.
Entry fee must be paid before April 21, 2008.

Meet Rules:
|
- The meet
will be conducted in accordance with the national federation rules and
regulations. This meet has been sanctioned by the CIAC.
- In field
events their will be no finals, 3 attempts only. (same as last year)

ATTENTION COACHES:
Please inform your athletes that they are not allowed on the football
field. When they finish competing in their event, they are to go in the
bleachers. Warm ups are not allowed on the track once the meet has
started.

Disqualification of a team's relay will result if a non-competing athletes
or their coach are found inside the fenced-off area (football field).

Awards:
|
850 medals
will be awarded to the top six teams in field events and relays along with
lst - 6th place finishers in 3200m, 300m hurdles and field events.
|
Implement Check:
|
- All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use
in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements
that have not passed meet inspection.
|
Miscellaneous:
|
- Maximum
length of spikes is 3/16 inch.
- Each
team will be responsible to bring their own starting blocks.
- Team
scores will not be kept.
