General Meet Information

Conference Teams:

Important Dates You Need to Read:

• ALL Athlete Event Entries deadline is 5:00pm on Sunday, May 18, 2008.
• Monday am, May 19, 2008 - Performance Lists available for review.
• 12-noon Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - Corrections to Performance List entries due to discrepancies between this list and the Coaches Athlete Event Entry Confirmation Sheet using an online Correction Form.
• Meet: 10:00am start on May 24, 2008
• Make-up Date: May 27, 2008 - 2pm

Online Registration:

• Athlete Event Entry for Boys and Girls Forms.
• Scratches on day of Meet close at 9:45am.
• Meet Entry Admin Services email: meetadmin@mysportsresults.com
• Timing Services: North East Sports Timing

Entry Limits:

• (Individual and Relay): Each team will enter no more than two competitors in each individual event unless more have met the least restrictive state class qualification.
• Each school in the relay events will enter only one relay team.
• Athletes will be limited to three (3) events in the Championship meet.

Entry Fees - Checks:

• No team entry fees.
• Spectators will be charged an ECC admission fee.

Meet Rules:

•  (CIAC, etc) ECC By-Laws, The National Federation and CIAC rules of track and field will prevail.  The jury of appeals will be head coaches or their designees of all schools not involved in the protest.

• Starting Heights
  Boys PV 9’ HJ 5’4” 
  Girls  PV 7’0"  HJ 4’ 4”

Awards:

• Medals will be awarded to the top (6) six finishers.

• 2 Tournament Championship Plaques (Boys & Girls).

• Eight place will be scored for all events.
