Review Positive Declaration procedures with
your athletes before the meet.

In order to provide for a quality meet experience for all
athletes, an athlete who misses his/her assigned heat/flight will not compete in
the event.

No Changes or Substitutions on Meet Day in any EVENT!
-
Fastest heats are run first (except 55m/55H) and best field
athletes compete in first flights.
-
55m dash and 55m hurdles: Fastest 8 athletes in preliminary
heats qualify for Finals.
Finish times in only the 55m/55mH are to the 1000th to help
judge finalists.

Field Events (SP, LJ, TJ): 4 attempts with no finals, no
attempts measured that are less than the event standards.

Starting heights in PV and HJ are Event Standards.
Facility Instructions

Spikes are allowed - We would
prefer athletes use 1/4" pyramid spikes, but 3/16" pyramid spikes are
allowed.
TEAMS: Please bring your
own starting blocks, clearly labeled with your school name.

Please keep all food and drinks out of Bacon FieldHouse. Members
of your group with food or drinks will be asked to leave the fieldhouse by event
staff.

| 3. |
Please keep ice bags out of Bacon Fieldhouse.
|
| 4. |
Buses may drop-off and pick-up teams in the front parking circle
but should park in the Vine St. parking lot (near the tennis courts). Buses are
NOT allowed to park in the parking lot behind the Freeman Athletic Center.

| 5. |
Please keep your team in the vicinity of the Bacon FH. WU does
not encourage any team members to wander around the building.
|
| 6. |
HealthSouth will be onsite in the infield for athletic injury
care.
|
Competitor Instructions
| 1. |
Only athletes competing or checking into an event are allowed on
the infield.
|
| 2. |
All team members are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship.
|
| 3. |
Spikes are allowed - We would

allowed.

No Jewelry allowed per National rules, remove prior to
event check-in. You will NOT be allowed to check-in to an event wearing any
jewelry.

| 5. |
RUNNING EVENTS: All athletes entered in an event must report and
check-in with the Meet Clerk at the bullpen by the 3rd call or they will not compete.

| 6. |
In ALL RUNNING EVENTS: once the athletes check-in to the bullpen
and receive their numbers
they will NOT be allowed to leave the bullpen.

| 7. |
In ALL RUNNING EVENTS: Athletes must check-in to event ready to
run (no jewelry, no t-shirts, sweats, tights, training shoes, etc.)
|
| 8. |
In ALL RELAY EVENTS: All 4 members of a relay team must check-in
together.
|
| 9. |
FIELD EVENTS: All athletes entered in a field event must report
and check-in with each Head Field Event Judge at the event site by the 3rd call
or they will not compete.
|
| 10. |
IN SHOT PUT / LONG JUMP : Athletes get 4 attempts only - NO FINALS.
Measured marks only greater or equal to qualifying standards.
